Dee Dee just 15 days ago, I kissed you on your forehead and told you it's time for me to ride out and head back to London. We had a running joke about you making sure that Smartee keeps de backyard in order. I said it one last time, you smiled and I left with a pretty good idea that this exchange would be our last of many that spans over 33 years. You were the matriarch of the family that showed me love from the time you met me in February 1993. The love that your family showed me is a major factor of me having such a bright and vibrant career within the soca industry. We even had a conversation about me providing music for today and I joked dat yuh hadda pay me upfront cos how I go get it when you gone. Dee Dee I hope de music that I did send is to your satisfaction. You will NEVER be forgotten Sleep well Dee Dee free from pain and discomfort. I am glad that I got to see you one last time. It was with surprise and sadness that I learned of Diana's passing. Last time we interacted was in Barbados at my Aunt's funeral.
